Tom Achilles won “The King of Whose Line” award in his 8th grade performing arts class. Ever since then, he was hooked. Achilles went on to found his high schools short form team The Last Laugh and performed in and directed the group until graduation.

A graduate of the Washington Improv Theater (WIT) Conservatory Program, he taught every level at the theater and coached WIT house team Love Onion. He was a member of WIT house ensembles Season Six and King Bee, as well as the sketch team Brick Penguin. Notably he has performed with Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall and Anthony Atamanuik of The President Show.

Achilles is also a graduate of the UCB, Magnet, and Annoyance Theater’s in New York City and has studied with members of iO Chicago, Second City, PHIT, Improv Asylum, and Chicago City Limits. He has performed in the Del Close Marathon, Chicago Improv Festival, District Improv Festival, Boston Comedy Arts Festival, Philly Improv Festival, Hartford Improv Festival, Charm City Comedy Festival, Steelstacks Improv Comedy Festival, Capital Fringe, Philly Sketch Fest, and NYC Sketch Festival.

He currently performs with the improv group Zoom all around New York City.
