guillotine

Guillotine is Tom’s first ever half hour standup comedy album. Achilles performs a cavalcade of original characters, poems, and mind fucks that leave the audience wondering, “Is this comedy?”

The album was directed by Sam Zelitch, sound mastered by Ben Harris, and recorded at Young Ethel’s in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Guillotine is available for streaming on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and Bandcamp.

REVIEWS:

“Like being inside a dream Nicholas Cage is having about being a REAL artist.”

- Eric Asker Weekly

“Dreamlike stream of consciousness slam poetry one person show performance art, poking fun at stand up comedy tropes and the absurdities of modern life.”

- Andrea Wang Gazette

“There is truly no one like him, no one is doing anything even remotely like what he’s doing. He’s like if you had an AI write a standup set and the only input you gave it was a couple dreams you half remembered about Robin Williams and Andy Kaufman. He jumps wildly between puns where he repeats the same joke with only slight variations over and over, to breaking down how Eminem pronounced every letter of the alphabet (complete with charts) to office themed Linkin Park covers, and then he does half his set backwards, repeating every letter in reverse order. It’s exactly the kind of ground breaking, avante garde, bizarre shit I moved to NYC to see.”
